Eastern Dagestan Tur (capra cylinricorns) from the group of ungulate animal, oxen family, genus of mountain goat. Body length is 120 – 180 sm, height is 78 – 112 sm, body weight of he male is till 155 kg (commonly 120 – 140 kg).The TUR’s horns excels than that of other goats – smooth and rounded, turned under neck up and back, with tips, twisted inwards and up, has similarities with blue sheep’s horn on the shape, however more massive. Habitation: Flanks of hills with intermittent of cliff outlet till 3500 meter above sea level, can be run across on low places, at the deep forests. They come down during winter times, keep off deep snow. In Azerbaijan we realize hunting in the regions Ismaillli and Guba. Trophy dimensions. The record SCI belongs to Joe "Kastaway" Kulis, obtaining Eastern Dagestan Tur on September 1978 in Azerbaijan. There are 92 trophies in general in the SCI (issued 2002), including 1 trophy get by pistol.
After pick up service, document preparation and hunting rifle registration at Baku airport we directly make our way to hunting camp. Our hunters are staying at the modern camp (1600 meter above sea level) provided with WC, water and electricity in Ismayilli and Guba region. Our pro cooker prepares the food. Hunters and guests stay in comfortably hunting house, where can stay 6 – 7 people in 3 rooms. But we also provided with modern tents. As usual we use the tents while staying at hunting place (fly camp – 3000 meter above sea level) for 2 -3 days. During 5 days we organize two kinds of buntings stalking and driven. During hunting we use horses as well. Our experienced guides are always pleased to help you on choosing bigger trophies. After hunting and trophy preparation we are back to Baku. Hunters are accommodated at the ****4 start hotel and directed to the national restaurant for farewell banquet. After all memorable moments hunters are brought to the airport.
